Description
A broad brim, rounded crown and square buckle give this pilgrim hat set its familiar period character. The shaped cutter establishes the bold outer profile, while a separate press adds the hatband and layered decorative lines.
Defined hat features
The silhouette includes the gently dipped crown and wide, upturned brim. Inside it, the matching press marks the crown panel, sweeping band, centred buckle and inner brim edge for a more complete finished design.
Two-step method
Form the pilgrim hat outline with the cutter, then align the press within the cut shape. Apply a second, controlled impression to add the buckle and band details without shifting the surrounding edge. The press is a separate matching tool, not another cutter.
