We review the shape
We look at the outline, small gaps, narrow areas and fine features. If part of the design will not translate cleanly into dough, we explain the issue and suggest a practical adjustment.
Receive a clear quote
We confirm what is included, the proposed size, the price and an estimated timescale. A cutter and any matching detail tool are listed separately so the choice is easy to understand.
Approve the design
Where appropriate, we send a visual proof showing the planned outline. Check the overall shape, dimensions, orientation and any wording before giving us approval to make it.
We make and send it
After approval, the cutter is produced, checked against the agreed design and prepared for delivery. Care and product-specific information will be supplied with the finished order.

What makes a useful reference?
A perfect design file is not required. Clear information is more useful than polished presentation.
- A front-on image, simple outline or high-contrast silhouette.
- The finished width or height you would like, ideally in millimetres.
- Any features that must remain recognisable in the final shape.
- Correct spellings and orientation if wording or initials are involved.
- The number required and any genuine event or delivery deadline.
Good to know
Photographs and detailed logos often need to be simplified into an outline. You must have permission to use any logo, character, artwork or other protected material you send to us.

Do I need professional artwork?
No. A rough drawing, photograph or written description can be enough to begin. Clear, high-contrast artwork helps, but we will tell you if a cleaner outline is needed.
Can you copy any photograph or logo exactly?
Not always. A cutter follows an outer edge, so shading and fine internal detail cannot be reproduced by the cutter alone. We may simplify the outline or recommend a matching stamp, embosser or detail press. You must also have the right to use supplied artwork.
How much does a custom cookie cutter cost?
It depends on the size and complexity of the design. We aim to keep straightforward custom work affordable and provide a quote before you commit. Exact prices will be confirmed for the individual brief.
