A custom cookie stamp transfers a design onto the surface of dough, fondant or icing. It is a useful choice when the outside shape can stay simple but the top of each cookie needs a name, logo, short message, monogram, date or repeat pattern.
Cookie stamp and cookie embosser are often used as overlapping terms. We use “stamp” for the complete handheld tool and the simple action of pressing a design. The finished mark can be recessed or raised depending on how the artwork is prepared, so tell us which result you have in mind.
A stamp does not have to cut the outside edge. It can be supplied as a standalone design for use with an existing cutter, or planned with a matching cutter so the border and artwork sit together neatly.

Is a cookie stamp the same as a cookie cutter?
No. A cutter makes the outer shape. A stamp adds surface detail. They can be ordered separately or designed as a matching pair.
Can a stamp include my business logo?
Often, yes. Simple logos with clear shapes and sufficiently bold lettering translate best. We review the artwork and explain any changes before making the tool.
Will very small text work?
That depends on the typeface, line spacing, stamp size and the material being stamped. We may recommend larger dimensions, fewer words or thicker lettering for a clearer result.
Can you match a stamp to a cutter I already own?
Usually, provided you send accurate internal dimensions and a clear photograph or tracing. The safest option is to send the cutter dimensions before design begins.
